The 2018 iGov team learned about the Sheriff's Department, Emergency Communications/911 and Emergency Medical Services for their March experience. We will continue to follow this group as they expand their knowledge of county services offered to our citizens.
Government Employee Appreciation at the Mudcats
There will be Government Appreciation Day at the Carolina Mudcats on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 5:00 pm or Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm. There is a voucher that has been sent to each Department Head, so please check with them. This voucher will be good for up to two (2) General Admission Tickets.

50th Anniversary
On Friday, February 16, 2018, Wilson County's 911 Emergency Communications celebrated the nation's 50th Anniversary of the first 911 call that was made in Alabama. Our 911 Emergency Communications staff celebrated with emergency communication's staff and partners across Wilson County. We appreciate all that our 911 staff do each day to respond when there is a need.
