December Library Programs

Wilson County Public library has released a list of upcoming programs offered to the public this December at the Main Library.

For children, there will be no weekday early literacy programs in December. A Saturday story time will be offered on December 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 10:00 a.m.

The Children’s Department will be providing a story time at Imagination Station for the Downtown Christmas event being held on Friday, December 1st at 6:30-7:30 p.m.

On Monday, December 4th at 6:00 pm, a Cancer Prevention Program will be held in the Assembly Room. Jessica Williams and Melissa Kanuck from the Wilson County Health Department will be leading the program.

Adults are invited to Clothing Closet, a collection of donated, gently used clothes for participants to wear during job interviews. Clothing Closet will be held on Thursday, December 7th from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. in the Conference Room.

There will be no teen programs for December.  Computers classes will not be offered in December. The classes will start up again in January.

ake a winter house and story time - Tuesday, December 12 at 4:00 p.m.

East Branch: No programs this month.

Elm City: No Programs this month

Lucama:  Gingerbread Party! – Thursday, December 31st at 7:00 p.m.

Stantonsburg: Book Chat – Thursday, December 7, 3-4:00 p.m.

Bookmobile: Tuesday, December 5 - Saratoga 3:30 – 5:00

Wednesday, December 16th   Rock Ridge 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. and Sims 4:15 – 5:00 p.m.
