Finding the steps to help quit smoking can be hard and challenging, and may require several attempts. The American Lung Association Freedom From Smoking program will help you quit by letting you choose a quit day, build strategies, and learn how to cope with the challenges of quitting. By quitting tobacco use you can help reduce your risk for many diseases like heart disease and lung diseases. This program is an 8-session program that identifies challenges that you may face while on the road to quitting tobacco use and how you can maintain those strategies to stay smoke free. The course is one day a week, the course will be held twice a week and you are more than welcome to attend either session.
