January Library Programs
Join us for the Snow Place Like the Library: Winter Reading Program from January 4th thru March 31st. Register online and start an avalanche of reading! The program is open to all ages with unique prizes for each age group. For Youth ages 0-12, every 100 minutes read earns you a prize and a chance in our grand prize drawing! Teens ages 13-18 and adults who read a minimum of 300 minutes by March 31st, will be entered into a prize drawing for gift cards. There will also be awards for the teen and adult that reads the most minutes. Check the library website for registration links and more program information!
Lets start the New Year on the right foot! Teens are invited to meet on Thursday, January 14th at 4:00 pm to learn some healthy habits to practice in 2021! Please register to obtain a Zoom Link.
Mental health professionals from Eastpointe/Therapeutic Alternatives will present Mental Health 101, a synopsis of depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance use and self-harming behavior via a Zoom webinar. This program is free and registration is required. Choose one of the available dates and visit the corresponding link to register. The Wilson County Public Library turns 100 years old this year. Join us on Facebook on Wednesday, January 20th at 7:00 pm for Wilson County Public Library: The Beginning as we look at the library before our present building was constructed in 1939.

Holiday Schedule
Wilson County Government offices will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Monday December 24, 25 and 28 for the Christmas Holiday and closed Friday, January 1, 2021 for the New Years Holiday. Between the holidays, our offices will be open providing quality public services on Dec. 29, 30 and 31 @ 8:00 a.m. Public Safety & Emergency Services are always on normal schedule. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
