The WCiGov Learning experience for August had participants at the Wilson County Public Library and Wilson Economic Development. Participants learned how both of these benefit our citizens and how they can be used for resources. The learning experience continues in September.
July’s iGov learning experience brought a visit to the Emergency Service Facility and the Health Department. Presentations were given from DSS , Technology Services and the Health Department. The 2020 iGov learning experience continues next month.
Crews are in the initial phases of building the new Wilson County Animal Shelter on Hwy 42 East near Wilson County Solid Waste Services. The facility should be completed by Spring 2021.
