Approximately 850,000 Americans experience cardiac arrest annually, of that number only 15% receive an intervention that could save their life. The purpose behind this course is to provide attendees with the education and training to react to an incident of sudden cardiac arrest. Attendees will learn the science behind cardiac arrest, the capabilities and limitations of their communities, and the integral role that they can play in making their community a safer place to live. This course is based on community practices from Seattle Washington which currently has a 65% survival rate following sudden cardiac arrest. Each attendee of this course will find the ability in themselves to save another’s life. This class will be held at 2201 Miller Road, South, 2nd floor conference room.
